Amazon Profit Calculator
Amazon profit is the selling price minus everything Amazon and your supply chain take before the money reaches you. The referral fee alone is usually eight to fifteen percent, and FBA fees, inbound freight and pay-per-click spend stack on top.

Values update as you type. This calculator covers the single scenario its formula assumes — see Common Mistakes for what it leaves out.
The formula this calculator uses
Net per unit = Price - COGS - Referral - Fulfilment - Ad spend - Other
- Price
- Selling price per unit
- COGS
- Product cost per unit
- Referral
- Amazon's percentage cut of the sale
- Fulfilment
- FBA fee plus inbound shipping, or shipping to buyer
How to check the result by hand
- 1
Work out the referral fee
Multiply the selling price by the referral rate. A 29.99 unit at fifteen percent pays 4.4985 to Amazon.
- 2
Work out the fulfilment cost
Under FBA add the fulfilment fee to the inbound shipping. Under FBM use the shipping to the buyer instead.
- 3
Subtract every per-unit cost
From the price take off the product cost, referral fee, fulfilment, ad spend and any other charge.
- 4
Turn the result into a margin
Divide the net profit by the selling price to see it as a percentage.
- 5
Scale it to the month
Multiply the per-unit net profit by the units sold to project monthly profit.
