Why we have this page in plain English: CalcLabHub is a small, independent site built by people who wanted fast, honest calculators. We are not a bank, a brokerage, a law firm, a clinic, or a financial advisor. The tools on this site are reference helpers — they help you think, plan, or sanity-check a number. They are not a substitute for a professional who knows your full situation. Please read this page before relying on any result.
1. The tools are educational, not advisory
Every tool on CalcLabHub — including the mortgage calculator, compound interest calculator, investment tools, retirement planner, tax and salary helpers, debt payoff planner, unit converters, AI writing tools, and health calculators — provides general information for personal, educational, and planning use only.
None of the output constitutes:
- Financial, investment, or trading advice — no recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, fund, or asset.
- Tax, accounting, or legal advice — rules vary by jurisdiction and change frequently.
- Medical, health, or fitness advice — BMI, calorie, body fat, and water-intake calculators are educational reference points, not diagnoses or prescriptions.
- Insurance or actuarial advice.
- Advice specific to your personal circumstances.
If you need advice that accounts for your full situation, talk to a licensed professional in the relevant field.
2. We work hard on accuracy, but we can't guarantee it
We design every calculator around the same formulas you'd find in a textbook, government publication, or well-established industry reference, and we document the formula in each tool's FAQ section so you can verify the math.
Despite that, the following are inherent limitations of any web calculator:
- Tax brackets, insurance rates, lending rules, and similar parameters vary by country, state, and lender. Our defaults are US-flavoured averages unless a tool says otherwise. Always confirm with the actual institution.
- Rates, prices, and regulations change over time. A formula that was correct in 2024 may be outdated in 2026.
- Real-world outcomes depend on factors we can't see — your full income, deductions, credit profile, health history, local rules, etc.
- We may have a bug. If you spot one, please tell us — we fix issues quickly.
3. AI tools (prompt, hashtag, email subject, sentence rewriter)
Our AI-style helpers use deterministic templates and rules — they do not call any third-party AI service or send your input to an external model. Their suggestions are starting points for your own writing, not finished copy. Review anything you publish.
4. Third-party data and links
The Currency Converter fetches exchange rates from the Frankfurter API, a free public service backed by the European Central Bank. We do our best to display current rates, but rates are informational and may differ from the rate your bank, card issuer, or money-transfer service actually gives you.
Links out to other websites are provided for convenience. We don't control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content of those sites.
5. No warranties
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalcLabHub, its operators, and contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its results. This includes, without limitation, financial losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made in reliance on a calculator output.
7. Your responsibility
By using the site, you acknowledge that:
- You are using the tools at your own discretion.
- You will not rely on any single tool output as a basis for a major financial, legal, or medical decision without independent verification.
- If something here disagrees with what a qualified professional tells you, the professional wins.
